Dr. Marco Clark

Dr. Marco Clark currently serves as the Founder/Chief Executive Officer of the Richard Wright Public Charter School in Washington, D.C. He is a well-respected educator, innovator, author, public speaker, and veteran in the world of urban education. In addition to being a Founder/CEO, he is also Chairman of the “Man the Block Safe Passage Program”, an organization focused on providing a safe passage for students to and from school. Dr. Clark emphatically believes that illiteracy is the civil rights issue of today and the catastrophe of tomorrow, if it is left uncorrected.  Dr. Clark has been featured in JET magazine, Huffington Post, New York Times, Washington Post, Afro-Newspaper and countless Journals/Articles discussing his educational reform efforts to fight against illiteracy and community issues throughout the country. Dr. Clark has received numerous awards and appeared on hundreds of talk shows as well as appearing as a keynote speaker throughout the world. Dr. Clark continues to advocate for educational and social change.
