Michael A. Fair (Mike)

A native of Evanston/ Chicago, IL.  Mike entered Clark College in the fall of 1987. During his tenure at Clark College, the school completed its consolidation and formed Clark Atlanta University in 1989.

Mike considers graduating from CAU in 1992 as a significant achievement that included an important life changing achievement when he successfully joined the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity incorporated after his successful initiation into Beta Psi Chapter in the winter of 1989.  Mike feels blessed to have met lifelong friends that he considers as his extended family within the CAU community. 

Mike Fair holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, and his professional career includes a range of assignments including a career as a marketing sales representative at educational publishing company McDougal Littell (Houghton Miffin) which afforded Mike an opportunity to drive sales of AP/ Honors/ College Prep/ ESL teaching material. 

In the summer of 2016, Mike decided to utilize his experience from corporate America and launch his own design firm.  Mike formally launched Design Studio Atlanta so that he could actively assist his clients achieve their mission of connecting with and engaging the clients they serve. 

When asked to describe his keys to success, “Mike” stated that he gathers his strength from GOD, inherits his moral compass from his family, draws his tenacity from his fraternity, and derives his WILL from his Son (Mychal Malik).
