2021 Shorts Film Festival

On April 17, 2021, Beta Psi 1923 Foundation hosted its 1st Annual Virtual Film Festival "Purple Evolution" which included a showcase of 10 independent films and an after-party featuring Atlanta's Own Quinn and the Jukebox Band. We were delighted to have radio personality, Ms. Ashley Stevens served as mistress of the

ceremony. This signature event also included an After After Party featuring DJ Charles. An encore presentation of the film festival was also held on May 16th. This successful event was attended by over one hundred Clark Atlanta University Alumni and friends and family of our beloved CAU.  This signature event materialized into an awesome night giving for well-deserving CAU students in need of scholarships. Our film festival highlighted independent filmmakers of all ages from all over the country. This showcase highlighted cinematic creativity in film genres of drama, sci-fi, animation, and biographies. The Beta Psi 1923 Foundation Film Festival proved to be an amazing night of giving while remaining safe.

The CAU Unity Brick Campaign

Beginning on March 1 and ending on May 1, 2021, The Beta Psi 1923 Foundation conducted the CAU Unity Brick Campaign, which was designed to help raise much-needed funds for student scholarships. However, just as importantly, this campaign helped increase alumni giving at Clark Atlanta University as a whole. Over 1000 bricks were purchased from supporters from all over the globe. In many ways, each brick that was purchased metaphorically represents a patch in grandmama’s quilt that tells the many stories of those that love Clark Atlanta University.
